What began as a post‑university trip around the world has become a lifelong career in travel. At 51, I’ve spent three decades designing, operating, and refining holiday programmes across the globe. My work has taken me deep into the product and operations side of the industry, creating and running programmes in the USA, Canada, Southern Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Australia, and New Zealand.
I’ve planned and operated holidays first‑hand, built long‑standing relationships with exceptional suppliers, and developed a deep understanding of what makes a trip run smoothly. I also spent five years leading the Intrepid Family Programme, which shaped my passion for immersive, inclusive experiences that stay with you long after you return home.
Destinations I Know Well
Africa & the Galápagos — I consider myself a safari specialist, with extensive travel across Southern and Eastern Africa and deep knowledge of wildlife‑focused itineraries.
North America — From East Coast city breaks to Deep South escorted tours and family adventures in Orlando, I know the region inside out and can design seamless, stress‑free holidays.
Australia & New Zealand — I’ve travelled widely across both countries and visited many of the key stopover hubs, ideal for crafting once‑in‑a‑lifetime trips Down Under.
Europe — Years of family travel across the continent give me practical insight into what works for real families on the move.

How I Work
I start by understanding what matters to you—not just where you want to go, but what you want your holiday to feel like. From there, I build a picture of your ideal trip and begin shaping it.
I draw on decades of personal and professional experience to select the right combination of hotels, guides, experiences, and suppliers. I’m not tied to any particular partner, so my advice is honest, independent, and focused solely on your holiday.
You’ll have direct access to me throughout: during planning, while you’re away, and when you return. No call centres, no hold music—just personal support when you need it.
Life Outside Travel
Alex and I have made our home in Binsted, North Hampshire, where life is happily chaotic with our three boys, three dogs, and two cats. We’re a family that’s always on the move—sport and travel shape so much of who we are and how we spend our time together.
I’ve always been a sports fan, whether I’m playing, watching, or coaching, and I’m proud to have founded the grassroots football club in the village. Most weekends you’ll find me on the touchline cheering or grabbing a few quiet hours on the golf course.
